Guzman should have been replaced during the offseason.

No more putting band-aids on the broken leg which is our shortstop situation.

The Nats should have signed a real shortstop in the offseason and let Guzman rot on the bench.

As for Astacio, also mentioned in that article, wrong Pedro and a year too late.

I actually like Pedro Astacio.

He’s truly a HR issue guy, with a good K/BB ratio.

When put in a pitchers park like Petco he absolutely thrived.

But I’ve always thought of him as fairly streaky.

You can’t have that on a team with Frank.

He can’t handle it.

And where would he fit in?

Where does he get his chances to pitch in the Spring?
