Two days after his son Craig Joffe took over as interim chief executive of LCA-Vision Inc. this month, company founder Stephen N. Joffe acknowledged in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing that he or his foundation owned a 7 percent stake in a rival company.Joffe left his role as chairman of the board of the 50-store Kenwood-based LasikPlus vision correction chain on March 1.In February, Joffe's foundation bought shares in the Mississauga, Ontario-based company, TLCVision Corp., which also operates laser eye-surgery clinics. He now owns 5.3 million shares.
