March 25, 2006 I'm seriously considering going to one of those laser eye-surgery places.Right now I have the eyesight of an umpire, or a bat.Actually, I wish I had the eyesight of a bat.

At least bats can drive at night.The reason I'd like to get my eyes overhauled is because I'm tired of wearing glasses.I didn't start needing glasses until I was an adult.I went through the usual stages:Arms suddenly weren't long enough.Squinting didn't work anymore.Drugstore reading glasses.Stronger drugstore reading glasses.Multiple pairs of drugstore reading glasses.Buying drugstore reading glasses by the dozen at Job Lot.
