- James Davis remembers it like it was yesterday.

Davis was watching his youngest son, eight-year-old Jacob Jamil Davis, playing catch at a friend's graduation party.

"He and Ryan Bashour were throwing a ball around and I noticed Jacob was having trouble catching it," Davis recalled.

"It was noticeable something was wrong."From that day on Davis, of Davis & Davis, Attorneys at Law, his son and his family have been on an emotional roller coaster when it's come to Jacob's vision.Jacob - "Jake" as he prefers, although his father still calls him the former - was eventually diagnosed with uveitis, which caused dense cataracts in both of his eyes and led to several major surgeries.A decade later Davis, now a senior at Brownsville Area Senior High School, continues to have vision impairment.A three-sport athlete, Davis missed a good portion of this past football season - he was the Falcons' starting quarterback - and adm...
